BES Boys Soccer team comes back to win Championship

BELMAR, NJ – Stakes were high during the Friday afternoon’s championship game at Spring Lake Heights School’s soccer field, where the Belmar Elementary School Boys Team came back to beat Spring Lake Heights 4-2 and took the gold. 

Belmar was down 2-1 at the half, until scoring in the first few minutes of the second half to tie it up, followed by a corner kick header to take the lead with about eight minutes left in the game. The boys then tacked on a fourth goal to clinch their victory with five minutes left in the game.
