Dear BES families,
We hope you have had a productive and enjoyable week. I wanted to reach out to the community to thank you for the incredible effort, patience, and commitment over these last few weeks. The rise in Covid cases this January challenged our operation, but yet again our staff, students, and community members rallied to persevere.
As we move forward through this school year we hope to make adjustments to our operation and programs that both consider the safety of students while also recognizing what makes the most sense. We evaluated the use of the Daily Covid Form completed by parents and we will be instituting a change starting Monday, February 7th. Instead of the daily form, parents will receive a weekly Monday morning form to check for symptoms and affirm their efforts to do so the rest of that week. Estimadas familias de BES,
Esperamos que haya tenido una semana productiva y agradable. Quería comunicarme con la comunidad para agradecerles por el increíble esfuerzo, la paciencia y el compromiso durante estas últimas semanas. El aumento de casos de Covid este enero desafió nuestra operación, pero una vez más, nuestro personal, estudiantes y miembros de la comunidad se unieron para perseverar.
A medida que avanzamos en este año escolar, esperamos hacer ajustes a nuestra operación y programas que consideren la salud de los estudiantes y a la misma vez reconozcan lo que tiene más sentido. Evaluamos el uso del Formulario Diario de Covid completado por los padres y estaremos instituyendo un cambio a partir del próximo lunes, 7 de febrero. En lugar del formulario diario, los padres recibirán un formulario semanal los lunes por la mañana sobre los síntomas de Covid y afirmaran su diligencia en notar lo mismo por la semana entera.
