Qualifications to become a Board member are:
1) Be a United States Citizen
2) Have resided in the district for at least one year prior to appointment
3) Be able to read and write the English Language
4) Be a registered voter in the district.
In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Law, C.231, P.L. 1975, the following meeting schedule of the Belmar Board of Education was approved at the Reorganization Meeting held on January 6, 2026. Adequate notice will be given for any meeting changes.
All meetings will be held in the Belmar School Library at 6:00 pm unless otherwise indicated.
