BES Fishing Club hit Lake Como for our first trip of the year today where we had a fun afternoon on a blustery early fall day.
You can’t expect much going out on a random day you pick on the calendar to hope and have a successful fishing trip, but we got lucky and almost everyone caught something.
Lots of white perch of all sizes were caught with the star of the show being Tarie Parker who caught a jumbo (it was his first fish 
It was a big turn out on our first trip with lots of new members, almost 20 kids. The kids did great. Some good exercise, fishing, and laughs. Can’t ask for much more than that!
Special thanks to Mrs. Travers and Mrs. Veltre. I think it’s safe to say they have earned the title of “fishing experts.”
Now is the time to fish! So get out there and get on something while the bite is hot.
